BRIEF HISTORY OF THE VICE CHANCELLOR’S OFFICE
The Vice Chancellors Office is the hub of academic and administrative activities of the University.
The duties of the Vice Chancellor are vast, all encompassing and cut across the broad spectre of University operations as reflected in the respective duties, functions, responsibilities and schedules of the numerous offices in the system.
The office came into existence with the establishment of the University in 2001. The first occupant of the Office started as an Interim Administrator until 2003 when it was changed to Vice Chancellor.
The Office is staffed by dependable and trustworthy personnel to protect the interest of the entire University.
