Our vision is to ensure a very strong foundation in the respective disciplines and
to transform undergraduates into efficient gradutes of the 21st century, with mental
competency and rational minds capable of making standard decisions on issues that
affect our existance as a nation
MISSION
Our mission is to provide effective education at the grassroot level, as education
is the key to development.The university prepares students, equipping them with
adequate skills needed for the development of the state and the country at large.
The university cater for the diverse academic interest of students and prepares them
for the variety of job opportunities and tasks which they may be confronted with
in later life.Thus the university is aimed at producing graduates imbue with the
ability to understand and make contribution to the global advancement achieved through
the development of the Nigeria community. This is to be achieved by equipping
the students with a solid foundation and specialized knowledge in various fields.
PHILOSOPHY
Our philosophy is to develop the mind , impart both theoretical and practical knowledge
on undergraduates so as to develop self confidence, self reliant and to be innovative.The
various faculties guide and encourage students to cultivate and refine their faculties
for identifying,defining, analizing and solving scientific and non scientific
problems in the society.
